Start your day with a sunrise on one of the best beaches along A1A. Sunset Inlet has its own private access to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches just across A1A. Venture out from there to enjoy the laid-back Flagler beaches lifestyle. Bike for lunch to the historic Flagler Beach pier. Buy a long board from the local surf shop and take to the waves. It’s all right in the neighborhood.
Sunset Inlet is a pedestrian paradise. A preservation area between the ICW and the neighborhood has been left in its natural state with a boardwalk leading to a sunset pier. Sidewalks and bike paths along A1A lead to shops and restaurants. Miles of beach round out the opportunities.
Every home has a dedicated slip for sail or power boating on the ICW. Kayaking on the ocean or Intracoastal Waterway is easy for residents who enjoy self-propelled boating.
ICW to Atlantic access means great inshore and ocean fishing is at your doorstep. Cast off the dock for redfish, trout and snook; or off the beach for blues, flounder and pompano. Bait and tackle shops are close by so bring your poles when you move into Sunset Inlet.
Restaurants are within walking and biking distance. Head to Downtown Flagler Beach for more dining and shopping. The city park there is home to a farmers market every weekend and many events and festivals throughout the year.
